If you're hungry while staying in Hotel Kai, fret not. You can just head down to Bistrokai to enjoy mouth-watering western cuisines.

Introduction of BistroKai

Bistro Kai, housed in the lobby of Hotel Kai, features the original brick walls from the conservation shophouse building. Decorated in a contemporary style, the dramatic setting is juxtaposed with modern finishes.

Bistro Kai serves mouth-watering Western staples; enjoy succulent steak and lamb chops, oven-baked salmon or gourmet open-faced sandwiches. There is also an artisan beer and wine bar serving imported and microbrewery beers located within beers for guests who wish to unwind away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Oysters - $2.50/piece, minimum order of 6 pcs

Fresh and delectable oysters. Squeeze it with lemons and you'll have that refreshing and "seafood" taste to it. The lemon juice blends really well with the oyster. Even though I am not a big fan of Oyster but however, sometimes all you need to do is just put everything into your mouth and try.

Crispy Baby Squid - $12

Chewy and crispy. The tenderness of the squid was just right. Best paired with beer and wine. Topped with shredded seaweed, this particular dish makes my day because I couldn't stop. Their coating was really perfect as it adds a sweet taste to it.

Buffalo Wings - $12

Makes you even stronger than Red Bull because it's Buffalo. (If you know what I mean)

Coated with hot pepper sauce, the buffalo wings are indeed spicy and I do recommend to people who loves spicy. Love the color of the wings as it's vibrant and more appetizing. Color up my life buffalos!

Kaibonara - $20

Their "Kai"bonara was really delectable and it doesn't look as creamy as others. With their juicy prawns and wobbly egg, it's a perfect combination of yin and yang.

Indonesian Style Barbeque Pork Rib - $24)

Supposingly, when you barbeque or cook pork, the meat will not sustain it's tenderness but however, Kai Bistro prove to me that the meat is so good and delectable. Their bbq sauce was so flavourful and thick, it goes well with the fries too!

Spicy Tom Yum Risotto - $22)

Infusion of Thai cuisine and Italian cuisine, you can feel each grain of the risotto, with tom yum. It's least spicy and sour. They used tiger prawns and the method of cooking is perfect. You can taste the flesh of the prawn and it's really juicy though!

Australian Grade Striploin Steak - $26

The Australian Grade Striploin Steak was a bit dry and I think that it's kinda well-done? Not really a big fan of Sirloin Steak but I think this dish is quite simple and normal?

Sawadee Seafood Pasta - $20

Sawadeekup! Their bow-tie pasta, infused with the green curry was indeed marvellous and I must on their method of cooking. It's really amazing that tiger prawns, scallops and clams can be together as one. Their green curry was not that spicy or milky. Slightly creamier but the texture is almost similar as carbonara!
